Court documents filed in the State of Wisconsin indicate that Goodwill Industries of Central Iowa has made an offer to purchase the former American TV & Appliance location. The offer amount is $5.9 million.
According to the documents the Receiver will continue to market the Iowa Real Estate until the hearing to approve the Real Estate Sale Motion is held. The hearing is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Central Time on November 24, 2014. The Receiver has retained the right to withdraw acceptance of the offer if, prior to the hearing, the Receiver is presented with an offer which is at least $200,000 higher than the offer made by Goodwill Industries.
The closing on the sale will occur within five business days after the Court enters an order approving the Real Estate Sale Motion.
