One of the top 2014 priorities identified by the City Council earlier this year was to conduct a cost/benefit analysis of extending services to the areas north and west of Johnston. In a recent update to the City Council it was noted that a request for such a study had been received from Knapp Properties. Staff reported to the Council that Foth had been asked to provide an estimated cost for a study of the water /sewer needs for the area. Information derived from the study would provide the basis for a cost/benefit analysis. Funding for the study has not yet been identified.
