The Johnston Leadership Series continued on March 12, 2014 with a focus on city government. City Administrator Jim Sanders led an informative discussion about the operations of the City of Johnston, and participants also engaged in a case study discussion about the Merle Hay Road Gateway redevelopment project. The pros and cons of various development strategies and options were explored, including a discussion of priorities for the investment of public resources in the area. Thanks to Mayor Paula Dierenfeld and Councilman Tom Cope for contributing to the discussion.
