Johnston Economic Development would like to introduce two new members of the Johnston City Council. Rhonda Martin and James Evans were elected to the Council at the November election. We look forward to working with Rhonda and James to promote economic development in Johnston.
Rhonda Martin
Rhonda Martin is employed by Iowa State University and works in facilities, planning and management. She has previously served on the Johnston Tree Board and is the President of the Northglenn Neighborhood Association.
James Evans
James Evans is the Director of State Judicial Facilities for the State of Iowa. He is a lifelong Johnston resident and a past member of the Johnston Tree Board and Johnston Lions Club, as well as a Johnston Soccer Club Coach.
Johnston Economic Development would like to thank Councilman Gerd Clabaugh and Councilman David Lindeman for their service to the community. Their participation on the City Council benefited Johnston in many ways. They approached their work with thoughtfulness and civility, and their contributions will be remembered and appreciated.
